General Forums Posting Contest!

This is our first posting contest for General-Forums.com

First let me show you what you could win!

1st place:

$75 gift card

2nd place:

$50 Gift Card

3rd place:

$20 Gift Card

Okay, let's go over how you win the contest.
We have a script that can calculate point based on a few parameters across the whole forum*.
The top 3 people with the most post after the deadline, will win amazon gift cards.

You get 10 points for every new thread you start.
You get 4 points for every reply.
You get 2 point for every reply to a thread you started!
You get 100 points for every referral you bring to the forums ( That person must make at least 10 post)
Post will not be counted if less then 50 characters.

The only Rules we have is obvious spam or loooooooooooong post will be edited or deleted.
All post must be unique content, no copy and pasting post from other forum. (the News section is exempt from this rule)

This will be a 3 month contest

The contest starts June 19th at 12 AM& end on September 18th at 11:59 PM.

*The introduction and marketplace forums will not be counted in this contest

Not that anyone will do this, but I do know that on certain sites people just copy posts from other sites for posting contests. I think you should make like a rule auto DQ for cheaters.

You guys have no chance. Unlike you all, I have all the time in the world, for 2 months.. Just sit here all day and post on GF..

Just setup our first newsletter
ended up sticking with GAZ, finally was able to login over at thevbgeek

These will get better as time goes and I'm able to tweak things.
Let me know if you had any issues with it ;)

I saw the newsltter and it was great. I didn't have any problems with it then again I didn't click any of the links so there could have been porblems galore and I would not know . It looked great though for a first newsletter. GREAT JOB, Brandon and whoever else helped you!

that one was just me

I did see the old vbulletin logo came through, I'll fix that for the next issue, as well as adding another section to pull from, or a custom text box.
